PRODUCT: Champagne Sabre

Champagne sabre is used to open bottle of champagne using the sabrage technique on ceremonial occasions. Whynot team was asked to design a sabre that is eye-catching, impressive, elegant and luxurious, while still being modern, fresh and minimal.
The silhouette of the knife is bold and clean, it evokes a minimalistic sculpture. The sabre has to be not only beautiful but very ergonomic as well, it is precisely weighted to make bottle popping effortless. To obtain a high-end, luxury look we chose a flawless mirror finish achieved by hand polishing five times.
Sabre is meant to be displayed proudly in the interior. We designed the stand that is milled from solid wood that complements and enhances the Sabre's beauty while on display.
